Born Learning Trails

Children learn and grow within caring and supportive human relationships. Besides food, water, and physical safety, there is nothing more important for the development of young children than the day-to-day interactions and relationships that they have with those who care for them. The United Way of the Crossroads is here to help.

Born Learning Trails are a series of ten metal signs with active learning prompts that promote everyday learning opportunities for parents and caregivers to share with their pre-K children.

Through generous partnerships with TrustTexas Bank and Victoria Parks and Recreation, the Crossroads' first Born Learning Trail was installed in Will Rogers Park in the summer of 2021. We look forward to installing a Trail in Cuero, sponsored by Devon Energy and supported by Cuero Parks and Recreation, in late 2021.
